Health Appliances are items that assist a person in their day to day living, or to prevent further injuries. Some examples of health appliances may include:

  • Blood Glucose Monitors
  • Knee braces
  • CPAP machines
  • Hearing aids
  • Pressure Garments
  • Tens Machines
  • Bandages and Gauzes
  • Crutch hire
  • Wigs

To be eligible to receive a benefit on the above items, you’ll need to have served a 12 month waiting period. Once these waiting periods have been served you can claim on these items up to your annual limit.
