Health Screening
Health Screening provides benefits for services received outside of a hospital, which do not attract a Medicare benefit. If a Medicare benefit is available for services received, you're unable to also claim a benefit from health.com.au.
Examples of services that can be claimed under Health Screening include:
- Hearing tests
- Retinal scans
- Bone density tests
- Mole mapping
- Mammography screening
- MRI
- Allergy or intolerance tests
To be eligible to receive a benefit on the above items, you’ll need to have served a 12 month waiting period. Once these waiting periods have been served you can claim on these items, up to your annual limit.
